Another Difficult Concept

Why is it so hard to understand that a digital cable box will show the time even when the power isnt turned on? Vcr's have been been doing this at least since the 80's and microwaves probably just as long if not longer. I would say it fair to say at least in the last 10 years most american households have 1 or both of these said items. However for some unbeknownest reason to me this is still a new concept to understand. To prove my point a quote from a customer a little earlier today.

"You mean it isn't back on even though it has the time on it"

Oh wait it has time showing that changes everything. You dont need to press power you need to pray to your pagen gods dance around naked at syd and fuzzy's abode, then commit suicide from a star gazing hippie. Yep that should get the cable back on. If not well at least i will be entertained for awhile. Fucktard.

Error messages are evil

I believe since living in the bible belt of america that all of the major faiths have determined that error messages are evil and should be ignored and never written down or paid attention to at all. This would explain the alarming rate of which people call into my call center never knowing what the error message they have received.

Difficult Questions

Now I do relize when I ask questions about certain things that people might have a hard time knowing what I'm talking about especially if it is pertaining to the computer ie are you using USB or ethernet. I accept that not all people are going to know this and this is fine with me. What I dont understand is my 1st caller today, I asked him if on the front of the digital box (for his cable) if it was showing the time or 4 dashes. He proceeds to tell me about his missing chans and how he talked to a superviser earlier about them. I acknowledge his statements of which because of his thick cajun accent (im assuming it is cajun and not white trash missing teeth and cannot speak english worth a shit as I would rather assume that my custumer base is simply from another culture. So no offense to cajuns.) I can barely understand him and hope this time will be different. I ask again what does the front of the digital box currently show? time? 4 dashes? is it blank. Again this is too complicated and I get some random answer about hbo and it costing to much. Another long day for me

Why do people have feel the need to lie?
