Me: "Unplug the digital box and give it 10 seconds without power then plug it back in."

Cust: "Ok it is unplugged tell me when to plug it back in"

I thoroughly believe I should have to speak to anyone who cannot count to 10, much less try and provide technical support for them.

Power = Clock?

Me: "The digital box will make some swirls for about 15 seconds then it will go blank for about 2 to 3 minutes. Please make sure while you’re doing this that you do not turn on the digital box. Let me know when the time gets back up on the box. It will probably take 2-3 minutes ok?"

Cust: "Doesn't the power on the box have to be on for the time to come up."

Snow and Ice

Today was a snow and Ice (mainly ice) day. It sucked but really wasnt more than a minor incovience for me but you would think by listening to several of the Fucktards and other techs that 8 feet of fucking snow and ice just suddenly fell from the sky. People who normally would seem to be alright suddenly become complete fucktards and lose their minds. Of course alot of people have called in saying they cannot make it in. I'm sure for some of them that live in the country that is true however most of them I'm sure it isn't. So needless to say it is an extremely busy day between the extra calls and then the short staffing. Im going to go eat a piece of chicken now.
